Recreation Aid

Assists in the operation and maintenance of the Bowling Center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for counter control operation which includes assignment of bowling lanes, shoe rental, cash control, locker rental, sale of bowling merchandise, and assisting customers. Prepares daily reports and deposits receipts in the safe at the close of each shift. Insures leagues start at the correct time, noting unusual delays and informs league officials of any corrective action that may be required. When closing the facility, completes all checklists and ensures building is secure. Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience: Practical knowledge and experience in bowling program activities is desired. Ability to safeguard and handle cash. Skill in the use of bowling equipment is desired. Ability to work an irregular schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Position is a position of trust. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
