Senior Hardware Engineer

1544-199Job Description ARES Corporation seeks an experienced candidate to support the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the US Air Force's Launch and Service Contract (LISC).  As part of this team, your work will directly support Vandenberg Air Force Base's efforts to successfully launch rockets into space. Essential Functions: o Responsible for the identification of requirements consistent with the range architecture, coordinates hardware, software and specialty engineering in order to meet the customer's requirements. o Works with project management and the project Lead Engineer to prioritize project tasks and milestones. o Design and development of integrated solutions to meet customer requirements. o Responsible for the preparation of contractual, programmatic, and required technical documentation to support engineering activities. o Integrates network communications functions between range assets and coordinates across other Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) assets impacted by the relocation. o Analyzes systems and prepares supporting documentation for performance, stability, interoperability and systems management/life cycle issues. o Analyzes, decomposes and allocates communications requirements from the subsystem level down through the Configuration Item (CI) level to the project. o Applies methods and techniques to develop, implement and document impact assessments, architecture change recommendations and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) change recommendations. o Designs, implements, and documents Range Hardware System modifications o Collect communication requirements, perform project planning and include schedules and budgets o Provides technical consultation on communications systems modeling and simulation. Responsible for other duties as assigned. Required Skills Minimum Requirements: o Ability to grasp, understand, utilize, and persevere the government processes o Solid conflict management skills o Ability to exercise diplomacy within a team environment o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal o Solid organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail o Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in communications instrumentation o Possess Comptia Security+ certification or be able to obtain within (6) six months of employment o Experience with Digital Voice, Video, VOIP, Microwave, fiber and copper data transmission preferred o Experience working with design principles and applications preferred o Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization o Valid U.S. Driver's License required   Required Experience In order to be selected for this position you must have: o Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) o Three or more more years of experience in Communication Systems engineering or related engineering field

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
