Position Summary:
The Information Systems Technician will assist the hospital local area network (LAN) administrator and clients with user account needs; support clients with computer hardware and software conflicts and/or needs; provide customer service to facilitate use of information systems technology; and perform information systems support service as assigned for the 30th Medical Group (30 MDG) at Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Systems Sustainment: Provide problem resolution for existing systems; maintain current baseline of systems and provide software change and problem fixes to the baselined systems as required.
Data Stores: Maintain existing data stores; provide services such as data cleansing and redundancy resolution; monitor and maintain data stores to ensure data availability, accuracy, precision and responsiveness
Systems Operations: Provide operational support services including, but not limited to, database administration, systems administration, customer training, and help desk support of both legacy and new applications and systems
Database Administration: Create and test backups of data, provide data cleansing services, verify data integrity, implement access controls
Systems Administration: Install, support, and maintain computer systems; plan and respond to service outages; diagnose software and hardware failures to resolution; implement and ensure security preventive measures are fully functioning; monitor and enhance system performance
Customer Training: Train customers on use of hardware systems and software applications
Helpdesk Support: Provide Help Desk Tier 1, and Tier 2 support for technical assistance, order processing, support of multiple software versions, training, warranty, and maintenance. Tier 1 includes ? Basic application software and/or hardware support; Tier 2 includes ? More complex support on application software and/or hardware
Required Education and / or Experience:
Certification: Security +
Experience: 2-4 years technical experience with Microsoft Windows-based systems to include Network Servers and Client Computing Systems
Highly Desired: Experience with MS Windows 10
Security Clearance:
An active secret clearance or higher is required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
