Harris Corporation Space and Intelligence Systems has an opening for a Aerospace Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Vandenberg AFB, California. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
Essential Functions:
Implement systems engineering principles and processes required to provide the framework and methodology to plan, manage, and implement the technical activities throughout the maintenance and operation of the Integrated Processing Facility.
Conduct requirements integration and verification, configuration management, failure mode investigation and resolution, risk management, project management, and writing and/or executing maintenance and sustainment plans and procedures
Conduct system requirements reviews and create and/or update requirement specifications and technical documentation
Create and/or review system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate, measurable and testable
Evaluate diverse customer requirements and compare to installation capabilities
As part of the integration team, work with customers to ensure Harris meets their requirements and fully supports their mission
Write Statements of Work and manage vendors/subcontractors on performing engineering tasks
Coordinate daily integration, maintenance, and sustainment activities with other team members
Investigate anomalies to arrive at the root cause, recommend actions to resolve the anomaly and prevent reoccurrence, and document the investigation and analysis process
Conduct hands on engineering work and oversee others' engineering
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 6+ year of systems engineering experience OR
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline and 4+ years of systems engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
An active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
10+ years engineering experience
Experience working with aerospace flight hardware
Experience working in and maintaining specialized clean room facilities
Experience with government contracts
Experience with space launch activities
Experience writing proposals, ICDs, requirements documents, and statements of work
Proficiency in 3D CAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Comprehensive knowledge is required of:
HVAC Systems
Automated Controls including software logic
Clean Room Operations
Maintenance & operations procedure reviews
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
