Job Description:
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Candidate must have completed their degree between May 2012 and June 2014.
Candidate must have a cumulative GPA of 2.90 or greater on a 4.00 scale
Note: If the candidate is selected for further screening, candidate must supply an unofficial college transcript upon the request of ULA (cumulative GPA and degree from current or most recent college must be validated). If a candidate is extended an offer and accepts the offer, ULA must receive an official transcript.
Must have a valid Driver's License and have transportation
As a condition of employment, you must be able to obtain and thereafter maintain a favorable National Agency Check Inquiry (NAC-I) in accordance with Air Force Instruction 31-501 entitled: Personnel Security program management or an equivalent approval so that you have continuous unescorted access to all ULA work locations, including controlled/restricted areas, to perform their assigned work.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written; including presentations)
Experience working independently and in a team environment
Previous internship experience in Electrical Engineering or Facility Engineering Electrical Power Systems
Basic understanding of Facility Power Infrastructure
Involvement and completion of technical class projects.
Basic working knowledge of engineering applications including AutoCAD
Basic understanding of problem definition and issue resolution process steps
Candidates are self-motivated with demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills on previous class projects.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
