Occupational Therapist Opportunity at Lompoc Valley Medical Center

Looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) for our Comprehensive Care Center.

Job Overview:

  • Plans, coordinates, and implements patient care maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conducts patient evaluations and treatments, ensuring accurate progress documentation.
  • Collaborates with physicians, supervises care delegated to assistants, and co-signs appropriate documentation.
  • Typically handles 6-8 patients per day.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • Shift:
    Monday to Friday, with very rare weekend requirements


Qualifications:

  • OT with a valid California license
  • Preferably one year of acute or OP rehabilitative experience; new graduates may be considered
  • Current OT license, CPR certification (American Heart Association), and a California driver's license
  • Proficient in occupational therapy across all age groups, strong communication, organization, and judgment skills
